In Memory

Maurice Wallin

The Australasian College of Legal Medicine
Dr Maurice Jeffrey Wallin — ACLM Founding President

13.02.1944 ~ 02.01.2020

Dr Maurice Wallin was the founding President of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine (ACLM). Together with Dr Maura McGill and Dr Noel McCleave, the College was inaugurated in November 1995.

Since that time, the College has grown to become a well-respected and internationally recognised body with a focus on the interface between medicine and law. Dr Wallin’s success in establishing ACLM as a professional body stands as a strong achievement for which he will be forever remembered. He was a man of vision, a true gentleman and greatly respected by his colleagues.

We give our deepest condolences to his wife, Margaret Wallin, and his family.
