Obituary Neville George Grieve 24th March 2019
Unfortunately, we lost contact with Neville but managed to get in touch with him briefly in 2014. He indicated at that time he didn't wish to be involved with any Class activities.
Martin Laide has provided a recent update on Neville:
'Over the last few years, I have continued to search for Neville Grieve though I understood that for whatever reason he did not want to contribute to the site. I have confirmed that Neville passed away in a hospital in Ballarat on March 24, 2019. He was a member of our class and a good friend during my time at RMC so I would appreciate this being added to the site. If I can source more information I will follow up with an obituary. All the best, Martin Laide'.
After graduation from RMC Neville served with the Royal Australian Corps of Signals including service in Vietnam in 1965.
With sincere thoughts and prayers.

Martin, thanks for following up and, sadly, discovering Neville's demise. In 4th class, our doors were opposite each other so we got to be good supporting mates. I do recall hearing that he was married, not sure about a family though. R.I.P. Neville

I fondly remember Neville. Thank you Martin for your update. We are at the age where our friends/colleagues are fast passing.

With experience and a quiet demeanour, Nev was a reassuring presence for nervous entrants in 1961. Sorry to learn of his demise in retrospect. Vale Neville. Ray Fardell
